Somatic Voice Workshops
A special two-day vocal journey into the body as a resonant field of expression, connection, and transformation—designed for members of El Sistema Greece’s choirs.
Through guided movement, breathwork, and collective sound exploration, participants will reconnect with their own voice as a living, vibrating instrument—capable of expressing emotion, presence, and memory beyond words. The workshop draws from somatic voice therapy and performance practice, inviting participants to explore sound in relation to the body, space, and others.
No prior experience in somatic work is required. Each session is adapted to the group’s vocal abilities and collective dynamic.
Each session will include:
- Breath and grounding exercises to connect with vocal support
- Resonance work to feel the voice in the body
- Playful group improvisations to awaken presence and imagination
- Listening and sound transmission practices to deepen group connection
These workshops are part of a larger investigation on voice as a tool for transformation and collective care.
No tickets required – internal activity for ESG choristers
